Michelle Obama has named Michael S. Smith of Santa Monica as official White House decorator for the family quarters....now there's something to put in his portfolio! I googled him to view some of his work - looks impressive!
So which door in Eleanor's Sitting Room (now the Master Bedroom) had the full-length mirror on it?
Today it was announced that Michael Smith, a very talented Interior Designer has been tapped by the Obamas to decorate the Family Quarters. To me, this is good news.
Smith announced today his first project is having a very old burled Maple four poster converted from a full to a king size bed. (this last part not in the article, but a buzz from a Rhode Island Designer I know)
He's a good choice for the family quarters, IMO.
