Soldiers' Home opening

After a $15 million renovation, the Old Soldiers' Home presidential retreat beloved by the Lincolns is set to reopen tomorrow (for tourists, not soldiers). Apparently, it took a lot to get the old soldiers out.

Yeah, there were some soldiers who had been there since the Civil War! They're in assisted living now.

Really looking forward to seeing this restoration!

I would love to get to D.C. soon and see the Soldier's Home, before schools let out. I added a comment to Got It! Check it out, I think I may have spotted some recycling.
