Changed the front page to one of row upon row of castings of the official 2005 ornaments from Design Formations.

I'm not sure how far away you are from Newark Oh (near Columbus), but Newark is home to the Longaberger Homestead and Longaberger Home Office (which is a giant basket). If you like baskets the Longaberger Homestead is a place to check out. My wife and I have visited there a few times. I think they have quite a few Christmas festivities during December. Check out their website at www.longaberger.com

Logan: I've seen pictures of that Longaberger building - a giant several-floor basket, complete with a giant handle - and it is a total hoot! Cincinnati is about 100 miles or so from Columbus and I'll be sure to check out their website to see what they have going on this Christmas season. Thanks for the tip!

Love Longaberger! I miss all the activity in nearby Dresden, but the Homestead is wonderful. I still visit Dresden, but it's not the same place it was before Homestead opened.
Derek, That giant basket is the "Home Office". When the late Dave Longaberger planned that building he was originally planning to build a small village with several buildings shaped like baskets. By the way, the giant basket building is open for tours. Becky, I agree the last time we were there (2005) Dresden wasn't the same. Of course I'm sure the people of Dresden are grateful for that. I cannot imagine living in a "festival" atmosphere all year long. I live in a small southeast Georgia town and once a year we have our "Sweet Onion Festival" and that is enough for me. But, we did enjoy ourselves at the Homestead. My wife is a Longaberger consultant, so we have TONS of baskets.
Maybe I wasn't being pointed enough. I took that pic of the HQ and put it in Wikipedia. I've posted quite a lot of corporate buildings and interesting examples of architecture there.

What great pics! The Longaberger pic shows how huge it is, and I like that.
Thanks for posting it, and showing where your architecture pics are. I love architecture, and enjoyed seeing them.
