Dang! Jack Frost is nippin' at my nose - and toes - and just about everything else in between - up here in the Midwest... And they keep talking about something called "snow". Ice falling out of the sky? Doesn't sound feasible.

It's cold up here! Snow on the ground. It's -6F up here (-21 C) but it's gonna get worse!!!! Get's as low as -35F or -31C by January/February. Wish I lived in the DC area (except for the crime)

Well, that does tend to put it (24 F tonight in Cincinnati) into perspective...

If you note the latest ratings, Washington, DC., is not at all the worst crime city in the U.S. I think Detroit was first. DC was
4th or 5th on the list. I feel safe in most sections of the city. Its like any other city of any size, you have to use care and be aware of your surroundings. I have walked the memorials well after dark on a summer night.

I think now's the time for Canada to invade the US. Your dollar is worth nearly double what it used to be. You could buy Kentucky and use it as a winter getaway.

Wanta bet? I'm right across the river from Kentucky an it was 25 here the other night... 'Course on the other hand, I've read that Winnipeg is as cold as Moscow... So I guess 25 (F) would seem like a heat wave. : )

Do all Canadians have floppy heads like the Canadians on Southpark?
