Looking forward to the refurbished briefing room any time now. Pete sent this link to an article with a photo of moving-out day. Note the worker coming out of the swimming pool storage area under the floor.

Waitin' for the press corpse to move to decent digs in the EEOB and for the pool to be filled again. It's too cold much of the year to use that outdoor thing. Besides, there's that business about swimwear.
I prefer having the PBR in the WH. The pool is secondary to me. The image of the press having this level of access and as a symbol is very powerful.
